Natural Resource Management
Conservation Based Resource Management
This Project is based in Bhoramdeo Wildlife Sanctuary to Attain Livelihood and Nutrition Security in Chhattisgarh." This initiative, funded by the DST Government of India, is designed to promote sustainable resource management for the benefit of Baiga Tribal Communities.
River and Valley Rejuvenation
For the past 20 years, CART has been dedicated to river conservation, focusing on preserving and revitalizing river ecosystems. Our initiatives include organizing community clean-up drives, implementing sustainable water management practices, and advocating for policies that protect waterways from pollution and over-extraction. Through education and collaboration with local communities, we strive to foster a deep sense of stewardship and ensure the long-term health of our rivers for future generations.
Tribal Development and Community Development
At CART, we are committed to tribal and community development by making government schemes and rights accessible to those in need. We conduct outreach programs to educate tribal communities about their entitlements, assist them in navigating bureaucratic processes, and facilitate access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. By bridging the gap between government initiatives and local communities, we empower marginalized groups to improve their quality of life and secure their rightful benefits.
Hill Conservation
At CART, our hill conservation efforts are focused on preserving the unique ecosystems and biodiversity of hilly regions. We work closely with local communities to promote sustainable land use practices, prevent soil erosion, and protect native flora and fauna. Through education and community engagement, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of hill conservation and implement initiatives that foster long-term environmental stewardship, ensuring these vital landscapes remain intact for future generations.
